u-to-pia

Pronounced you-to-pe-a…
sounds imperfect
yet perfect it signifies
Sought for in children
Neglected by the adult-erated
Almost lost sight of
Only an imagination away
Hardly even imagined afterall

Some say, tell me you are there
And i’ll tell you are not here
I say utopia is just around the corner
We only hardly visit
I thought utopia was in special places
Oh how disappointing
Only where your creator is
There you are

It’s hard to reconcile
The contradictions
Tougher to believe
In existence of mirage
If utopia were Euthopia
I probably must visit
Ouch! It’s here and there
Where I place it

Utopia must be brought
Into life we must
Imagined creatively
Believed regardless
The scriptures confirm this
The word intensifies the reality
The mind can believe
The whole will receive

Utopia
